Yellow Wallpaper is a a short story by American writer Charlotte Perkins Gilman. It was originally published in 1982 in The New England Magazine. It is a collection a journal by this unnamed woman. The whole story was happening in a room of the mansion that the woman’s husband rented for the summer. The woman’s narration hovers around the room, and it sets a very mysterious atmosphere. I wanted to redesign the covers, illustrations, and typeset in a way to catch the special mood that the story gives us. Collaged images with monochromatic color palette are used to show poetic imagery and metaphorical language in the story.
